The Artists Way
I am reading the Artist's Way right now and it is fabulous. Does everyone know about it? There is something about doing the morning pages that is very freeing. Of course, blogging has taken a backseat as I seem to be focusing more inwards than outwards. How could I have missed this book for so long?!
Oh, Junior wore the sweater to a cafe. A woman commented, "That is the most beautiful girl - she is way to pretty to be a boy." She was responding to someone who said what a cute little boy he was. Eek, poor Junior. He loves his sweater, though. Truly.
I did the Artist's Way back when it first came out, when I was recovering from a nasty break-up and needed to redirect my attention and energy! It truly was transformative. I've just recently started doing someting similar to morning pages again. When I did them earlier, it was really, really good, strengthening, healing.

Better later than never! I love that book so much and really enjoyed doing the morning pages. Maybe I'll do 3 tomorrow morning... :-)
Did you read my book yet? ;-)

Pink, that's one of my favorite books. Although it still didn't make me draw well (nothing can do that - hand just won't cooperate with mind), but I love the freeing feeling to draw poorly.
I want to see a pic of Junior in his sweater!

Go ahead and swim with it. I read the book and did the morning pages as I was approaching my 30th birthday. It is really transformative. Even if you do not have issues with creativity, you'll learn alot about yourself and heal parts of you that you didn't even know existed.

I just love that book - it's fabulous. I also got so much out of doing the morning pages and also of making artist's dates with myself - time to play.
